Sitting lonely on the clearance shelf was the &lt;em&gt;Terrific Pacific Cookbook: The Vibrant Foods of Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam, and Malaysia&lt;/em&gt;. In it are "over 300 aromatic recipes". And I got this lovely book for $1. Yes, one dollar US. How could I not take that book home? &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Not only are there excellent, Asian recipes, but this book is also filled with historical and culinary tidbits.
